We're sorry to announce we need to freeze intakes at this time. That means we aren't able to take any more cats and kittens. This has been a very rough year for all rescues. If you've been thinking of adopting a cat or kitten, please visit a rescue or shelter so we can have more room. And please, please, spay and neuter your cats!

FOSTERING
Saves Lives
Foster / Volunteer
Fostering a cat or kitten is not a lifetime commitment, it is a commitment to save a life.
As a foster-based rescue group, our biggest volunteer need is fostering. Without foster homes we aren’t able to provide care for all the kittens and cats that need help. When you open your heart and home you give cats and kittens the best chance at finding their forever home.
Foster volunteers provide love, time, and a temporary home. Cactus Cats Rescue provides all the vet care and medical expenses. Stop by at one of our adoption events at Petco (I-10 & Ray) in Phoenix on Saturdays from 11 am-3 pm and we'll be glad to answer your questions.
Fostering should be a rewarding experience. Foster homes provide a safe place for kittens and cats to live while preparing for their forever homes. Your service to these cats is truly greatly appreciated. If you're interested in becoming a foster for Cactus Cats and are over the age of 18 years please read the following information.
